Dance Department a.k.a. Utkan & Guney has been together from their highschool years and they were involved into the music from that time. After they started the college they were interested in electronic music and finally in 1996 they started playing in Radio 2019 which was the first dance radio in Turkey.
They have been the resident DJ's in many of the clubs which dominate the Istanbul underground scene including Club 2019, Club Millenium, Club Highend and Club Crystal.
They participates in many electronic festivals, events and
show performance with DJ's such as Hipp-e, Mazi, Mastiksoul, Silicon Soul, Terry Francis, Nathan Coles, Format B, Tom Clark, Michel De Hey,
Derrick May and Fred Everything.
In year 2000 they moved to Bulgaria and became the pioneers of deep tech house and played almost in every clubs such as Club Comics (Varna), Club Chervilo (Sofia), Club Plazma (Plovdiv), Club Roxy, Club Mania, Club Culture Beat, Club Wake Up.
They have a wide range of music from deep house to tech house and host a weekly radio show at Radio Dinamo 103.8 (http://dinamo.fm) and from 2012 they established a new label called Comrade Music.
